Pricing Model
Lelantos uses per-second billing -- you only pay for the compute time your sandboxes actually use. There are no minimum commitments, no reserved instances, and no hidden fees. Billing starts when a sandbox enters the running state and stops the moment it is killed, stopped, or paused.
Signup Bonus
Every new account receives a $50 signup bonus -- no credit card required. This gives you plenty of room to explore the platform, build templates, and run workloads before adding a payment method.

How Billing Works
- Accrual: The billing service calculates charges every 10 seconds for each running sandbox.
- Flush: Accrued charges are written to your account balance every 60 seconds.
- Paused sandboxes: No charges accrue while a sandbox is paused.
- Killed/Stopped: Billing stops immediately when a sandbox is terminated.
All amounts are tracked internally in milli-cents (1 cent = 1,000 milli-cents) for precision.
Adding Credits
When your signup bonus runs out, add credits via Stripe:
- Go to the Lelantos Dashboard.
- Navigate to Usage or Settings.
- Click Add Credits to open a Stripe Checkout session.
- Complete the payment -- credits are added to your account immediately.
Lelantos uses Stripe for all payment processing. Your payment details are handled securely by Stripe and never stored on Lelantos servers.
FAQ
What happens when my credits run out?
New sandbox creation will fail with an insufficient balance error. Running sandboxes will continue until their timeout expires, but no new sandboxes can be started until credits are added.
Is there a free tier?
The $50 signup bonus serves as a generous free tier. At default pricing, this covers approximately 650 hours of sandbox time with the default configuration (2 vCPU / 512 MB).
Can I get a refund?

Are there volume discounts?
Volume pricing is available for teams with high usage. Contact support for details.
How do I track my spending?
The Usage page in the dashboard shows real-time credit balance and historical usage breakdown by sandbox.
